What I would give to think like you“We’re in love, just leave us be!What I would give to think like you by Arxym
We’re pure and whole hearted, adore us, you’ll see!”
I said the same things about six years ago
Then he broke all my fingers so I couldn’t warn you
Love is patient, love is kind
It is not proud, it does not boast;
Yet you cannot always tell it for what it is
You cannot see the mouth of the beast until it opens
‘It can never happen to me
Is the cry of every victim-to-be’
You’re a fool if you think your mind is infallible
You’re a liar if you think you can’t be hurt
You’re a cheat if you tell me it can’t happen to you
And a statistic waiting to happen at worst
“It cannot happen, for love with preserve me
Like a dove, it flies on, regardless of winds
You’re just a jaded adult, my point you will see
When I am happy and you are not!”
You may be right, this man may be kind
But the Devil can cite scripture for his purpose
Don’t punish me for simply being awar
Dreaming Beast's Lament, Grieving Knight's PrideCathedrals of bone and light in lands of mistDreaming Beast's Lament, Grieving Knight's Pride by Arxym
Forgotten beasts in shades of grey
Thorn-covered ruins separated only by distance
And one lonely knight whose goal was to change
“Bring me the head of the Dreaming Beast!”
His king, so withdrawn, did say
With biting tongue and hasty retreat
The lonely knight did obey
The Beast was perched over cliffs of green
With a view of the shining white sea
A Dragon with wings like childhood dreams
Mist-like, delicate, colors vibrant and free
Under skies of sickly amber and sun bright but pale
The Beast and the Knight lifted eyes to the other
“Beautiful, like glass, but can steel fix the king’s ails?”
The Beast did present to the grieving iron lover
“I care not for your talk, nor your speech about ails
My soul, wounded justly, will bow only to me
The task set to me leaves no room to fail
Raise your claws, mighty beast, and let your suffering flow free!”
With those words that the knight did say
Tempered yet cold
There's a madman in my houseDarkness creeps around my roomThere's a madman in my house by Arxym
Silent, soothing, gentle darkness
I never thought it'd be my tomb
Is someone walking up the stairs?
One thump, two thumps, three thumps
Of my house I am now painfully aware
Someone breathes outside my door
Heavy, frantic, animalistic breaths
He opens it now, ending peace forevermore
The man throws something onto my floor
A heavy thud, a scream I give
A human's body now lies cold
He turns his head to look at me
Crick, crack, snap, crack
Slowly, slowly, he is agony to see!
No eyes has he to see his deeds!
Drip, pant, drip, wheeze
My flesh is now to appease dark greed
He grabs my arm as I spring up to flee
Heavy breaths, frantic and wild
Though I shed tears, he has no mercy for me
Darkness creeps around my room
Slit, pant, cut, wheeze
I never thought it'd be my tomb
A Poem About A Special TreeWhite snow falls from dark blue skiesA Poem About A Special Tree by Arxym
But I'm not there, I'm contained inside
Sitting by an object, tall and green
Covered in shining trinkets and lights that gleam
An angel in pink sits on top of our tree
She gives a serene expression to all that she sees
Ribbons surround the tree, silver and gold
Just like a song in a story we're told
Metallic fruits in colors plenty
A poke with my fingernail proves they are empty
Shimmering spheres that look like snow
And more icicle-like spirals than even I know
I peek further in, and what do I see?
Two eyes of a cat staring right back at me!
"Mom, the cat's climbed up into the tree!"
"He's so cute, I'm almost tempted to leave him be "
Shuffle, thump, whirr, clink
"Mom, he knocked over one of the ornaments!"
"Okay Thumper, you have to leave the tree now "
